Shira Silkoff

Shira Silkoff is a former breaking news desk manager for the Jerusalem Post, and between May 2023 - and September 2023, they held the position of interim managing editor of jpost.1eye.us.

Starting in August 2021, they held the role of breaking news desk manager, after initially joining the Post in April 2021 as a breaking news desk editor.

From July 2022 until September 2023, Shira held the Women's Affairs Reporter position, covering topics such as gender inequality, reproductive rights and gender-based violence in Israel and around the world.

From January 2022 until June 2022, Shira filled the position of Health Correspondent as a temporary replacement, covering COVID-19 and other local and international medical news.
