The Leonardo Plaza Jerusalem hotel from the Fattal hotel chain and the Netzah Yehuda association will host, at their own expense, bereaved families, soldiers and female soldiers who were injured during the Iron Swords war and their families, at their own expense, with the aim of giving them, even if only a little, the opportunity to get out of the routine for a relaxing vacation in the capital city.
The exciting initiative was made possible thanks to David Fattal, owner and CEO of Fattal Holdings, and David Hagar, Jewish philanthropist and founder of Netzah Yehuda, who opened their hearts and pockets.
Accommodation at the Leonardo Plaza Hotel Jerusalem will include full board with a wide variety of rich meals alongside unique and adapted activities, among them, a unique lecture by Oded Menashe and Eden Harel, a lecture by Miriam Peretz, two of whose sons, IDF officers, were killed in battle while performing their duties, a performance by The mentalist Nevo Abutbul, musical performances, poetry with the singer Yitzhak Ben Arza and activities for children in the hotel grounds.
The Fattal hotel chain was harnessed as of Saturday, October 7th, at record speed and became a home for about 20 thousand evacuees, not only with thousands of rooms, in about 45 hotels in Israel from the north to the south, but with a network that gathers on the one hand all the needs of The evacuated residents, on the other hand, contribute to the soldiers at the front.
David Hagar, Jewish philanthropist and founder of the Netzah Yehuda association: "I am excited for the blessed initiative and thank David Fattal who understood the importance and immediately joined the cause. It is a great privilege to host the bereaved families and the wounded soldiers who gave their blood for the country a week before Passover. In the Haggadah it is written, "In your blood is my life" - thanks to their blood we live and it is our duty to thank them for that."
Ortal Noah Moalam, CEO of the Leonardo Plaza Hotel Jerusalem: "The Fattal hotel chain is excited and proud to take part in the wonderful initiative that was forged together with the Netzach Yehuda association and to host bereaved families, soldiers, soldiers and their families, who sacrificed for the country and to give them even a little in return."
