This Passover, the Israeli economy mobilized in favor of small businesses in the country, by giving holiday gifts to their employees from local businesses. As every year, the BUYME gift platform shares the most popular choices of holiday gifts and everything related to them, but this year, the holiday gift categories for employees were also affected due to a war of iron swords that left, and still is, a lot of damage to small businesses. Tomer Cohen, CEO of BUYME says: "One day after October 7th, we opened a special store at BUYME designed to recruit local businesses to us.

We were exposed to difficult stories, of reservists who left the business to protect the home, businesses that were evacuated and people who lost everything. We started the project "wrapping businesses" with Taboola, a project born from the desire to give our customers the added value of a gift at a time like this, and we see a great response to it among our audience."

This year, according to the data revealed by BUYME, it is evident that 21% of employers chose gifts for employees from the BUYME LOCAL category, which is a gift that offers a variety of experiences and gifts from a variety of small and local businesses - wineries, fashion, restaurants, hotels and more. This giveaway was created to help and raise business from the local industry. Therefore, many companies chose to give it to their employees.

The other category is fashion brands, which 17% of employers chose, followed by the culinary and food category with 6%, and the last place was the spa and hotel category with 3%.
