Last weekend, fashion enthusiasts on Instagram witnessed the wedding day of blogger Inbal Cohen (133k followers). The evening she exchanged vows with her model beau, Bar Tuvi, took place at the luxurious venue, Luca, and as expected, the festive event included three dresses from Israeli designer Tal Medina

The two collaborated over the past six months, creating an inspirational lineup aiming to establish a connection between the three dresses for the wedding. Designs were crafted, drawing from Cohen's beloved vintage world, fused with her personal style. Employing fabrics in shades of creamy white, powder, and warm nude, avoiding bright whites and cold blues. "It was crucial for Cohen that the dresses embody timeless elegance, simultaneously couture, handcrafted, incorporating intricate embroidery and beading," Medina explains.

The first dress, which kicked off the event and led her to the chuppah, was a princess-cut satin gown with a classic sweetheart neckline, devoid of plunging details to retain focus on the ceremony. The dramatic train was crafted from silk, creating a two-tiered, semi-transparent skirt, consisting of five different fabrics, culminating in a breathtaking three-meter-long tulle, accentuating Cohen's silhouette beautifully.

As customary, the second dress was slightly more playful and less formal (brace yourself for the third). The party dress revealed in a reveal design with a deep neckline in a Gatsby-style mesh bodice, adorned with delicate pearls in a champagne hue, enhanced by meticulous embroidery, adding a touch of glamour. Additionally, a slit with a hem at shoe height, alongside very delicate ruffles.

The third and more mischievous part, marked by romance and classicism. In this case, the look began with the choice of shoes - Chanel-inspired pumps that Cohen fell in love with in Paris, shaping the design of the third dress. Another piece with touches reminiscent of lingerie, but this time without transparency, rather entirely opaque.

The talented Medina found and chose a fabric reminiscent of Chanel's iconic textiles, in an off-white hue: "We sewed this dress three or four times until I reached the desired result, and it's one of my greatest achievements as a designer, particularly due to its technique and construction process," she shares. Essentially, it's a mini-dress composed of two parts - a structured bodice and a flared skirt, flowing into a balloon princess silhouette. As a nod to the Chanel shoes with the black ribbon, a black satin bow was sewn onto the dress, symbolizing the brand at the chest keyhole.
