Samsung announced this morning (Wednesday) that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in Paris on July 10 at 16:00 Israel time. At the anticipated event, the tech giant is expected to unveil its new foldable flagship devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. In addition to the foldable phones, it is speculated that Samsung will also introduce a variety of other products, including smartwatches and new wireless earbuds.

The choice of Paris for the event, shortly before the opening of the Olympic Games in the city, suggests possible collaborations between Samsung and the Olympics, potentially even launching special Olympic editions of its flagship devices. According to the invitation, the event is expected to focus on "the next generation of Galaxy's artificial intelligence" and unveil the continued expansion of "Galaxy's ecosystem," which includes a wide range of products and services.

Rumors indicate that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 models will feature modest upgrades compared to their predecessors. The Z Flip 6 is expected to receive a slightly larger battery, while the Z Fold 6 will undergo minor design changes and become slightly more square-shaped.

Moreover, the interesting announcement from Samsung may not actually be a phone at all. Speculations point towards the official launch of the Galaxy Ring, the smart ring that was first unveiled at the previous Unpacked event in January. Subsequently, there was a brief opportunity to try out a prototype of the ring at the MWC exhibition in Barcelona, and since then, a few details about it have seemingly leaked.
