Arkia announced that it had signed a wet lease agreement for a Boeing Airbus 321 aircraft from the Bulgarian company fly2sky. The new aircraft will help the company to complete the destination schedule and strengthen the fleet during the summer months and holidays.

The new reinforcement player will be added to Arkia's aircraft fleet and will begin flying from mid-July to the end of October. This move is intended to increase the number of flights, for the high demand in the summer season.

The fly 2 sky company owns a fleet of 8 planes, operating flights throughout Europe. The leased plane, with 212 seats, will be manned by the company's air crew and each flight will be manned by an Arkia flight attendant.

Oz Berlovitz, CEO of Arkia: "The additional aircraft that will join the aircraft fleet will make it possible to expand the frequency of the company's flight map, currently flying to 27 destinations."
