This is a garden apartment in Givatayim purchased from a contractor, with an area of 147 square meters and a garden of about 60 square meters. The owners of the apartment are a couple in their 40s, they have three teenage girls. They wanted to produce an inviting house in neutral and bright colors and clean lines that instill a relaxed atmosphere, in a Scandinavian design, with a large central space that allows hosting.

Architect Lipaz Barkai, who had faith in the planning and design, along with the changes with the contractor, planned plenty of interior and exterior hospitality areas. As well as a large kitchen with work surfaces and storage. In addition, each of the girls had her own suite planned.

A foyer welcomes those entering the apartment. On one side this leads to the public space (which is about 70 cm lower than the rest of the apartment), and on the other to the bedroom area. The division of the public space was made so that there would be a large area for each function, including maintaining a connection between the three - kitchen, living room and dining area. The couple always dreamed of a black kitchen, along with maintaining light shades, it was decided that only the wall where the tall cabinets in the kitchen are located will be black, while the work surface and the wall covering will be made of dekton marble in a white shade, as well as the island that completes the kitchen and is surrounded by wooden bar stools.

The parquet throughout the house is an oak shade, slightly bleached, which corresponds with the dining area. The textiles and carpentry in the living room were chosen to continue the natural and clean line as characterized by the rest of the house. The master suite has been changed and redesigned.

The designer gave up the closet and in its place a large closet was designed as part of the bedroom that integrates a television into it, in order to allow for a large and spacious shower. In the parents' bedroom, a bed back made of wooden slats was designed with minimalist drawers and lighting fixtures that meet the Scandinavian design.

In the girls' bedrooms, carpentry details were designed to facilitate learning and in addition closed storage combined with open storage in order to meet the needs of each one according to hobbies and personal taste. All the furniture and carpentry in the apartment are new, everything was designed according to the needs of each and every one. Since the apartment is located in a relatively dense urban area, privacy was created with the help of soft curtains designed by ELLA DECOR.
