Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced exciting new experiences for its sister ships, Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna, the first of the company’s cutting-edge Prima Plus class. The ships, set to launch in April 2025 and 2026, respectively, will debut the Aqua Luna Gaming Zone—a gaming experience that builds on the popularity of NCL's Galaxy Pavilion.
The ships will also feature the Bull's Eye Bar, a free interactive darts experience alongside a full-service bar, and Tee Time, an expanded mini-golf course with 12 interactive holes across two decks. "We are providing our guests with a variety of fun, exciting, and uplifting experiences for every type of traveler," said David Herrera, President of Norwegian Cruise Line.
The new gaming zone will offer an array of experiences, including VR games like Space Racing and Beat Hero, alongside retro arcade classics such as Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Down the Clown. In the wellness sector, the ships will include an updated Mandara Spa, featuring a two-story indoor spa waterfall and a marble staircase. New amenities include a clay sauna, advanced IV treatments, and thalassotherapy loungers. The thermal suite will double the number of heated loungers compared to previous models.
According to the company, Norwegian Aqua will begin its voyages in April 2025 with seven-day Caribbean itineraries departing from Port Canaveral, Florida. Norwegian Luna will join in April 2026 with cruises departing from Miami.
