The IDF completed multiple attacks targeting Hezbollah in southern Lebanon following a massive wave of rocket attacks and drone incursions that were launched at northern Israel Friday morning, the IDF reported on Friday night.

The IDF aircraft completed a wave of attacks targeting Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. Among the targets attacked were a Hezbollah military site in the Zibqin area, two operational infrastructures in the Al-Khiam and Hula areas, and a military building of the organization in the Al-Adaysseh area.

Additionally, the IDF killed Hezbollah operative Mustafa Yassin, also known as "Malak," during the attack near the town of Nabatieh, the terror organization Hezbollah reported on Friday night.

Earlier on Friday sirens sounded in northeastern Israel near the Lebanon border and lasted nearly 15 minutes.

The IDF later updated that approximately 25 launches were identified, and no injuries were reported, but some property damage was caused.

Roughly an hour after the barrage, three drones were detected crossing into Israel from Lebanon with interceptors launched but no interceptions occurring.

The IDF stated during the barrage that the Israel Air Force had struck a Hezbollah infrastructure belonging to the terror group's Aerial Unit in the Jabal Safi area, north of Nabatieh, in the center of the country.

The IDF said this particular site had been used to launch surface-to-air missiles toward Israeli aircraft over the preceding months.

The IDF later confirmed that a number of drones had crossed into Israel from Lebanon and that interception efforts were underway.

Israel's emergency service, Magen David Adom, subsequently stated that it had not received any reports of casualties thus far.

After the barrage concluded, Mateh Asher Regional Council head Moshe Davidovich stated that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was dictating the conflict in the North.

"While the Israeli government makes supreme efforts to reach an agreement in the north, Nasrallah again proves he is the sovereign, and families who sat around the Shabbat table had to sit in bomb shelters and security rooms," Davidovich said.

Earlier strikes in Lebanon

Earlier on Friday, the IDF announced that it had struck targets in southern Lebanon after several anti-tank missiles were identified crossing from Lebanon toward Israel.

No injuries were reported as a result of the anti-tank missiles.

IDF troops identified terrorists operating a Hezbollah military structure in the area of Kfarkela in southern Lebanon. The Air Force subsequently struck the structure and terrorists.

An additional Hezbollah military structure was struck in the area of Chihine in southern Lebanon, while throughout the day, IDF artillery struck targets in the area of Naqoura.

Following the sirens in northern Israel later on Friday, the IDF Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon.

This is a developing story.
