An Israel Air Force aircraft killed the Radwan forces naval chief, Khadir Sa'id Hashem, in a strike in Qana in Lebanon on Tuesday, the military said.

Hashem joined Hezbollah some twenty years ago, the IDF said, adding that in his current position, he held a significant role in the terror group's smuggling activities via sea.

The IDF added that Hashem was responsible for planning and carrying out terror activities against Israel and its citizens via the sea, including during the Israel-Lebanon ceasefire.
