IDF kills Hamas terrorist in Sidon, southern Lebanon

The IDF killed Hamas terrorist Khaled Ahmed Ahmed in a strike in Sidon, in southern Lebanon, the military said on Wednesday. 

Ahmed was responsible for the operations of the terror group's Western Brigade in Lebanon

The military added that throughout the war, he had operated to advance terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli citizens. 

Hamas has a longstanding presence within Lebanon, including in camps across the country that host Palestinian refugees.

Strike on Hezbollah terrorist

Earlier on Wednesday, the military reported an additional strike. Terrorist Adnan Muhammad Sadiq Harb, who was a commander in Hezbollah's Bader Unit, was killed by an Israeli air force strike in the southern Lebanese town of Nabatieh.

The military stated that as part of his role, he advanced the rehabilitation of Hezbollah's terrorist capabilities and assisted in efforts to rehabilitate terrorist infrastructure south of the Litani River.

In addition, the terrorist transferred weapons in Lebanese territory to different units of Hezbollah, the IDF reported.
