Patient shoots wife at Shamir Medical Center, commits suicide

An oncology ward patient reportedly fatally shot his 74-year-old terminally ill wife in Shamir medical hospital on Tuesday afternoon, according to Maariv, sister newspaper to The Jerusalem Post.

Maariv reported that he committed suicide immediately afterwards in front of the other patients. Police arrived at the scene and are currently investigating the incident.
