Israel delays releasing Palestinian prisoners
Army Radio reported that the prisoners would be released after a security consultation concluded.
Israel has delayed the release of Palestinian prisoners set to be freed Saturday as part of the first phase of the hostage-ceasefire deal, N12 and Army Radio reported on Saturday.
"Regarding the delay in releasing the terrorists – once the security consultation concludes, a decision will be made regarding the way forward and the completion of the return of the fallen hostages at this stage," a source told Army Radio.
Hamas says ready to move to second phase of hostage-ceasefire deal
Hamas said on Saturday it was ready to move to the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire deal and to carry out a comprehensive hostage-prisoner exchange to achieve a permanent ceasefire and complete withdrawal of Israeli troops.
