S. African, Islamic Republic of Iran officials meet to deepen military ties, pro-IRGC sources say

The officials, in particular, were Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Maj.-Gen. Abdolrahim Mousavi and South African National Defense Force Chief General Rudzani Maphwanya.

 Maj. Gen. Amir Hatami replaced Abdolrahim Mousavi who was recently appointed the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces after Israel killed the former chief of staff.
