The Houthis, who control Yemen's most populous regions, have attacked vessels with commercial ties to the United States, Britain, and Israel.
US and British warplanes, ships and submarines have launched dozens of air strikes across Yemen against Houthi forces in retaliation.
A joint operation carried out by the United States, Spain and Japan searched more than 21,000 square miles of ocean for the missing SEALs, CENTCOM said in the statement.
Residents rally against deteriorating living conditions and rampant corruption in governing bodies, calling for "bread, water, and power."
