Sundor, a subsidiary of El Al, has announced the launch of a new flight route to Albania, set to begin in spring. Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama tweeted about it on his X account.

Sundor will operate three weekly flights to Tirana: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The inaugural flight will take place on March 31, 2025. 

The mini state, whose territory will consist of around 0.1 square kilometers, is planned to be the “Vatican” of the Shi’ite Bektashi Sufi order.

During the event, Prime Minister Rama was presented the CAM Global Leadership Award for his work fighting antisemitism and religious prejudice of all forms.
