The US congresswoman accused Israel of intentionally creating the conditions for famine in the Gaza Strip, saying that the humanitarian crisis had "crossed the threshold of intent."
The New York lawmaker, a member of the so-called “Squad,” referred to Jesus’ family as “Jewish Palestinians.”
Ocasio-Cortez’s condemnation of the rally is notable because of her frequent criticism of Israel.
“Why does Israel get under your skin?” Haley asked. “Because it’s democratic, pro-American, or Jewish?" Nikki Haley wrote. "You all would fit in great with the antisemites at the United Nations.”
No matter how hard J Street tries, no matter how many times J Street defends or praises Bowman, Omar, or Ocasio-Cortez, their wing of the Democratic Party simply hates Israel.
The House member, who represents parts of the Bronx and Queens, told Jewish Insider her plans on Thursday.
