The IDF is investigating if these two separate nearby attacks are linked, and are looking for other possible suspects in the area. 

Local police said they were not yet able to comment and it is unclear whether the background of the attack was criminal or terrorism.

The threats predated a recent spree of bomb threats against Jewish institutions, mainly synagogues, that began in the summer of 2023.
