Starting this coming April, Israir will add three new destinations to its flight schedule: Vilnius, Debrecen, and Basel (in June). Prices start at $245 for flights to Vilnius.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 marks the 69th edition of the event and will be held at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel from May 13 to May 17.
The two Swiss cities were the final candidates chosen according to criteria that included transport connections, hotel capacity and security.
While Basel was a hub of Jewish activity in the past, most recently only one kosher restaurant has survived.
