The State Attorney's Office said an appeal filed to the High Court of Justice by the Movement for Quality in Israel Thursday calling for the bodies to issue complaints against Nave should be rejected
"This is the reform that needs to be done," said Nave, as ongoing judicial reform negotiations and debates continued in the country.
MQG stated that "Efi Nave should be disqualified mainly for being a criminal and not for procedural matters."
Though Naveh resigned as the Bar head in 2019 over a scandal, Israeli sources reported that he had gained enough signatures to run for reelection.
