IDF locates body of soldier who died in 1949, was buried as part of mass IDF grave

A ceremony will be held in Rehovot, at which Gessner's name will be added to the headstone of the collective burial site containing all three bodies, the IDF confirmed.

Feldman fought in the Battle of Sultan Yacoub between Israel and Syria in June 1982, in which six soldiers were declared missing in action. His remains were recovered from Syria after 43 years.
