Israel and Russia

Israel has confronted Iranian weapons trafficking in the region in the past, particularly via the war-between-the-wars campaign in Syria.

Both men are in the Kazakh capital of Astana to attend the sixth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA). 

Israel and the US are concerned the technology could be used for intel and nuke progress.

Similarly to the Jewish Agency, multiple other Russian-Jewish organizations have received warning letters from the Russian government.

Russia has been inspecting the Jewish Agency for three years before ordering it to stop operations in the country.

Israel has publicly tip-toed around Russia’s invasion. Since Russia crossed Ukraine’s border in late February, Jerusalem has studiously avoided blaming Russian President Vladimir Putin by name.

Vladimir Putin is important to world Jewry, but this does not change the fact that the Russian president is a monster.
