Israeli new weapons

As a country surrounded by enemies for much of its history and with the military at such a central role in its culture, Israel has often worked to arm itself with new and improved weaponry as well as innovating on its own.

Several Israeli defense companies such as Rafael, Israel Aerospace Industries and Elbit Systems have continued to push forward innovation and modernization on the weapons front.

Further, several weapons and vehicles have been bought from countries and companies abroad to further enhance Israel's capabilities.

All of this serves to ensure that the Jewish state continues to maintain its qualitative military edge in the region.
