In his segment Sunday night, Oliver presented a recounting of the events surrounding the current conflict in Israel that was either intentionally misleading or shockingly ill-informed.

“It pained me to see a personal hero of mine saying something so unfair, unjust, and simplistic," comedian Tom Aharon said.
