Memorials held nationwide in memory of those fallen, honoring hostages still held in Gaza, one year later
Captain Roi Nahary was one of the 12 active and reserve soldiers who fell on October 9, following another dozen who had fallen the previous day, and 284 who fell on the infamous Oct. 7, 2023.
The atmosphere that evening was both meaningful and emotional for me personally, as I had met Rabbi Sacks in England and in New York City, when he signed my Koren Sacks Siddur.
The names of two other victims have not yet been released.
The Knesset Spokesperson announced that it will unveil a memorial this month honoring victims of terror attacks, featuring a unique design by artist Ella Littwitz.
