"Death to Israel, Death to Jews,” was also shouted in Arabic by a protester, according to a video posted by The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs on Tuesday.
Protesters opposing Israel's operations against Hamas rallied outside Montreal Holocaust Museum to demonstrate against the reservists panel taking place there.
"This is the bottom line: They are lying to themselves. They are a massive organization caught up in a belief system... they are imposing it on a media outlet. This is a partisan crusade.”
This marks the third time in less than a week that a Jewish school in Montreal was hit amid heightened tensions over the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
Jewish students at Concordia University have faced a large number of verbal and physical threats over the last week.
The police announced they will continue their inquiry, and revealed that a woman has been arrested in connection to violence at Concordia University.
Montreal police said that no one was injured and the damage to the buildings was minor as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau condemned the incident.
“While the congregation is small, the synagogue evokes Jewish history in Montreal and the attack on it is causing dismay in the community,” Marvin Rotrand, a former city councilor said.
