Nissim Vaturi has made other controversial comments in the past, such as claiming in June that demonstrators advocating for a hostage deal acted as a 'wing' for Hamas.
The protesters arrived at the Sde Teiman base after Military Police Criminal Investigation Division soldiers, masked, arrested several reservists on suspicion of sexual abuse of a Nukhba terrorist.

Vaturi also referred to Israel's action in the northern Gaza Strip, saying, "We've evacuated everyone, we managed to do an orderly evacuation of 1,900,000, and 100,000 remained."
Vaturi will not be allowed to speak in the next 10 plenum sessions and will not be allowed to speak in committee meetings for 14 days.
