The results of the Lithuanian-born oleh’s documentary trips, and his own place in the snaps, are currently on show in the “Photo Watchmaker” exhibition at the Eretz Israel Museum in Ramat Aviv.
The documentary Vishniac premiered in New York on January 19 and will open in Los Angeles on February 2.
The shop has been around since 1949. Interestingly, it is located in the Christian Quarter rather than the Armenian sector.
