The protesters marched through Tel Aviv, past Kirya military headquarters, calling for a halt to the IDF's Gaza expansion plans, which they said risked hostages' lives.

Hathaleen’s allies and other partners in the Israeli-Palestinian cooperation and peace space have staged a series of protests, calling for justice for Hathaleen.

The terror group also called for "popular pressure in all cities, capitals, and public squares."

The protest comes as a response to the government's decision to expand the operations in the Gaza Strip and Netanyahu's order to “occupy the strip.”

Demonstrators gathered to support the attorney-general and call the government's decision a “political and illegal attempt to remove her by those seeking to dismantle Israeli democracy.”

Standing inside a mass protest in Habima Square to demand an end to the war in Gaza, Roy Rieck said the atmosphere felt more charged than at previous demonstrations.

The move comes days after Likud issued a statement citing what it called “astonishing revelations” contained in an official document recently published by the US Congress.

Following the protest, the university began an investigation into rules violations, banned participants from the campus and placed them on interim suspension, it said.

The cruise ship departed from Haifa on Sunday, stopped in Rhodes, and arrived in Syros on Tuesday. 

One suspect was released under restrictive conditions, while the other two were placed under house arrest until Monday. During the attack, Odeh’s car was damaged, and protesters spat at him.

Eyewitnesses reported that the officers took minimal action, choosing instead to "contain" the situation rather than intervene forcefully.
