Some communities from the north that had to evacuate have been promised governmental and employment benefits. Other communities haven't been so fortunate.
The report said the general unemployment rate went up to 10.2% when the conflict started, and now it's at 7.2%, partially due to the many Israelis serving in reserves.
With many Israeli businesses working reduced hours or closing during the war, employees losing their jobs or placed on unpaid leave, many have turned to unemployment benefits to help them get by.
