Chevron activates emergency flare at Leviathan rig to burn off excess gas

Chevron, the Leviathan gas rig operator near Haifa, announced that the emergency flare was lit on Saturday evening to burn off excess gas.

The oil company emphasised that the flare does not cause any health or environmental harm.
