The video shows a convoy of ambulances and a fire truck, with headlights on, after the IDF said the vehicles were operating with headlights turned off.
This incident represents the "single most deadly attack on Red Cross Red Crescent workers anywhere in the world since 2017," IFRC reported.
The IDF said that four Palestinians were injured in the incident, while the Palestinian Red Crescent claims that 16 were injured.
Subsequently, the Palestinian Health Ministry reported that an Israeli airstrike killed at least ten Palestinians in the Tamun area.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that a two-year-old toddler was killed by IDF fire.
During the operation, the IDF apprehended approximately 50 wanted individuals.
