Over the past week, soldiers of the 146th Reserve Division thwarted Hezbollah's underground infrastructure in southern Lebanon, the military said on Sunday.

In these targeted raids and ground operations in southern Lebanon, soldiers eliminated over 100 terrorists and located and destroyed dozens of tunnel shafts and terror infrastructure.

Much of the combat took place in rough, mountainous terrain that led to underground infrastructure, combat sites, and Hezbollah posts used to carry out attacks against Israel in recent months, the IDF stated.

Additionally, more than 50 rocket launchers and over 60 Hezbollah command posts were destroyed, the IDF said.

Soldiers of the 205th Brigade uncovered underground infrastructure approximately 120 meters long and two meters deep, located about half a kilometer from the border with Israel.

The tunnel was used by terrorists for prolonged stays and included electrical infrastructure, ventilation ducts, and two rooms used for storing weapons and ammunition. The tunnel, the IDF said, was discovered months ago during targeted raids conducted by the IDF and was now destroyed by the military.
