The Canadian government announced a national antisemitism forum after the shooting of the Toronto Bais Chaya Mushka Elementary School and arson of the Montreal Beth Tikvah Synagogue.
The current incident is the third time gunshots were fired at the school this year, with similar incidents recorded in October and May.
Kehillat Shaarei Torah has had its windows smashed with rocks, hammers, its signs graffitied and set on fire, and a dead raccoon placed on its property.
Hundreds of customers had complained to the TTC about antisemitic defacement of stop poles, shelters, and vehicles.
Banners with “Ceasefire now” and “Jews 4 Free Palestine” can be seen in a video of the incident.
The suspects are being investigated for a previous shooting at the same elementary school in May.

Parents were told that their children would be observing a protest on Grassy Narrows First Nation and the ongoing water crisis, but instead students participated in an anti-Israel rally.
“We’re not here to fight people,” Osuji said, "We’re here to protect. If we see kids attacked, that might play out a little different."
